¿Qué es LIHEAP?
LIHEAP (Programa de Asistencia de Energía para Hogares de Bajos Ingresos) es un programa federal administrado por cada estado que ayuda a los hogares de bajos ingresos a pagar las facturas de calefacción y aire acondicionado, y en una crisis puede ayudar a evitar un corte del servicio. Los fondos son limitados y las temporadas varían por estado: solicita temprano a través de la agencia de tu estado — nunca por un sitio de terceros ni pagando una tarifa.
